Catching Dreams Painting Workshop

Create your dreams into visual form with a dreamcatcher painting on canvas! Some believe feathers hanging from a dreamcatcher are a soft ladder for good vibes to glide down. Through the creation of your dreamcatcher you will attract those good vibes and have a visual reminder your big, beautiful dream!
Join us as we hold space for you to experience your own creative discovery.
Catching Dreams, an intentional creative workshop put on by artist, Kristen Fagan, and Kerry Burki of The Moon & Arrow Lodge.
In this workshop, you will tune into your dreams, your desires, and your intuition.
You will be guided on a journaling and drumming session. Then Kristen will guide you to create your own dreamcatcher artwork that will hold magical power for your journey ahead.
Supplies Needed:
- 12×24 Canvas
- Assortment of Paint Brushes
- Acrylic Paint, about 4 oz in each of the colors Red, Blue, Yellow, Black and White (I like Liquitex Basics or Artist Loft by Michaels). You’ll be able to mix other colors from these basics.
Extras: (Other things you may want to have available – not required.)
- More colors! You may use craft acrylic paint as a cost-effective way to add a few specialty colors! You can buy small bottles for around $1-$2
- Chalk
- Stamps
- Stencils
- Paint Pens
- Bubble Wrap
- Water Spray Bottle
- Oil Pastels
- Ruler
- 8-10 inch circle to outline the dream catcher top. (Plastic top, bucket, plant pot, embroidery hoop, stencil)
Approximate Cost of Materials: $30-40
You will also want:
- A pen and paper or journal.
- A dream in mind that you are working towards or want to explore.
- Clothes you don't mind getting paint on.
- Optional: candle, essential oils, amethyst, and/or ametrine.

I have my B.A. in Religious Studies and I am a yoga teacher, former editor of Kerry Magazine, transformational life coach, certified metaphysical practitioner, Divine Resonance Practitioner, intuitive counselor, and certified Chakra, Lunar, Tarot, and Crystal Mystic.
Basically, I am fond of all things spiritual and creative.
Kristen Fagan
Kristen Fagan is a color dripping, happiness seeking artist, art facilitator, creative guide and published jewelry designer.
She creates inspirational art and lifestyle products as well as eclectic bohemian jewelry for the free spirit. She is a soulful artist that encourages you to be brave, love deeply and shine brightly!
Soul Painting
If you are new to “soul painting”, please know you can’t do this wrong. The journey is
what’s most important. You don’t need to know the outcome. You are free to express
yourself in any way possible. Painting like this is a discovery. Being free to play is an
opportunity to show up as your true authentic self and allow your creativity to flow.
This is a safe, judgement-free zone, including self judgement.
Course Curriculum
Once you sign up, you will have access to the 2 videos that were recorded live in March of 2018. They are each about one hour long. Kristen encourages you to pause if you feel like you want more time to work on any layer.
